CAN AM Maverick X3-R
🚩A Brief Review of CAN AM Maverick X3 X RC Turbo R:
As you may already know, it's pretty safe to say the days of universal general purpose ATVs or side by sides have come and gone. Nowadays, manufacturers are building purpose-built vehicles right at the factory, instead of a vehicle that is neutral in its showroom form being modified after purchase for a specific purpose. The 2019 CAN AM Maverick X3 X RC Turbo R is the best example of a factory built custom machine that his industry has ever seen. It's every bit as serious as it is gorgeous and it's hiding some pretty interesting technology underneath those curvy lines. If you are wondering what it is, actually the base of the vehicle is an X3 X RS Turbo R with a 900cc inner cooled three cylinder turbocharged engine which provides 172 horsepower and 124 lb-ft of torque.
It gives you searing speed, no matter the terrain. It boasts 22 inches of travel from arched double A-arms up front and 24 inches of travel from four lengths trailing arms out back. All of this is damped by a set of massive “Fox Performance” Series 2.5 and 3.0 shocks that are fully adjustable. Trial mode & EPS is standard as is an excellent set of well-bolstered seats. But believe it or not, that's just the base of this vehicle. The XR C is bred in the shadow of the king of the hammers and it is designed to tackle it and races like it while being completely stock. So CAN AM has pushed this already astounding platform even further with the addition of: Full skid plates, Rock sliders, Aluminum roof, 4500 pound winch, Front and rear tow hooks and a trick set of retractable four-point harnesses.
All of these trick upgrades would make an X3 more capable in the rocks, but it would still just be an X3 with upgrades. Even those massive purpose-built 30-inch Maxxis Liberty tires with eight plies and an ultra sticky rubber compound which are designed specifically for ultimate rock crawling performance and extreme desert terrain durability wouldn't make an X 3 an X RC. The heart of this vehicle is CAN AM's new smart lock front differential. This differential is nothing like an inaccurate Visco lock. This differential is nothing like anything this industry has ever seen. The system features four different Drivetrain Modes:
- 44 SMART
- 44 LOCK
24 and 44 lock are self-explanatory, it's the 44 smart modes that need an explanation. In fact, when 44 is selected with the left rocker, either Trail or Rock lights Turn on on the right rocker depending on which mode is selected. In these modes the brain of the Smart-Lock System or the front differential module gathers information from six different vehicle parameters. Including: Independent front wheel speed, Steering Angle, Throttle Position, Drive Gear Selection, Engine Torque and vehicle speed. After gathering information from all the sensors and calculating it through pre-programmed rock or trail parameters, the front differential module uses a clutch pack to fully lock or unlock the front differential for trail or rock growing conditions.
Another important thing that needs to be understood about this vehicle is that the Maverick is a dedicated rock crawler. It is designed to be run in the rocks or in areas that mirror rock racing conditions. It is not designed to be an all things for all people multi-purpose type of rig.
💬CAN AM Maverick X3 X RC Turbo R Engine & ECU:
195 hp, Rotax ACE (Advanced Combustion Efficiency) 900 cc Turbocharged Triple-cylinder engine, liquid cooled with integrated intercooler and “Donaldson high-performance Air Filter” and Intelligent Throttle Control (iTCTM) with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). Which provides 195 horsepower at 7,250 RPM and 185NM of torque at 6,500 RPM. Combined with a Quick Response System X (QRS-X) CVT transmission with high airflow. It managed by ECU Bosch MG1CA920.

You can “Read & Write” this ECU in bench mode by pin by using protocol TSM (TRICORE) 1601. Then you can change the dump in ECM Titanum.
- Dim Sport/ Trasdata:
Reading & Writing files by New Trasdata plugin in bench mode For this ECU that was pointed out (protocol 1738) . Then you can use RaceEvo Application to modify original File.
In this programmer like Others you can Read & Write that by bench mode. But for remapping the Original File you need to other Software like WinOLS.
